About the role:  

Moulsham High School is a larger than average 11-18 comprehensive school where all students ‘flourish academically’ (Ofsted 2024). The learning environment is ‘cordial’ (Ofsted 2024), and students and staff enjoy a high level of mutual respect.    

We are looking for an enthusiastic maths specialist who is firmly committed to the principle of high achievement for all to join our innovative Maths Faculty. The post is suitable for either an ECT or a more experienced colleague.        

  

The Maths Faculty is academically successful, exceptionally well lead and has a real team ethos.  G.C.S.E. results are consistently well above national averages, 2024’s placing the faculty in the top 11% of all schools nationally. Both A Level Maths and A Level Further Maths are offered post-16, with take up having increased significantly in recent years.  The successful candidate will be expected to teach maths up to and including G.C.S.E. A Level teaching may also be available.  They will be joining 10 other specialists who are all determined to move ‘beyond outstanding’ and firmly believe that the best is yet to come.
